I am currently attempting to develop AR using VPS on an activated Wayspot. However, the registered meshes there are far from practical (the quality is fair and only cover parts of the ground). How can I improve the mesh quality, even a little? Would it be effective to upload many scans made with the Niantic Wayfarer app?
Hello! Yes, the best way to improve the quality of the wayspot is to upload more scans to the location. The more scans, and the higher quality of scans will result in a better mesh at the wayspot. It’s also best if you scan under different conditions at different times of the day. You can find the list for best scanning practices here.
