Do I need to reach level 10 in INGRESS? to use the wayfarer app for creating visual markers in App

I want to scan and build my own waypoints for testing my app’s visual location system.
Do I need to reach level 10 in INGRESS? Isn’t there another way to let developers test VPSs with Wayfarer?

(I’m at level 7 in Ingress and need to focus on my thesis; I don’t have time to play/walk)?

I was not able too as it is not ready for android.
I hope equal support is given to both platforms.

that will be amazing - I’m lucky I can borrow an IOS device, but for convenience using android will be great! Such great work your all doing! <3
