Getting "ERROR: Unable to request a Vps Activation" again

Description of the issue:

Again, when trying to activate wayspots I’m getting this error. Is this just something I have to accept as part of the process?

Hello RidM,

While this error is still due to the rate limits implemented by Niantic, I don’t have any further information regarding if this will be temporary or is just part of the process at this point. I will let you know if I get any updates about this matter.

Yeah, you just have to wait 2-3days and it will go through. Really confusing error message because you think it’s not been registered, but you’ll be emailed when it’s activated.

I’m waiting for like a week at this point and still getting ERROR: Unable to request a Vps Activation.

Any updates? I have scanned enough scans for much more waysports than I can now activate. If I can activate one wayspot a week, I’ll be activating the rest for another year probably. Is it possible to increase the limits? There’s no point in encouraging people to scan a lot and then prevent them from activating what they have scanned.
