ARDK for iPad - Roadmap?

Based on the current ARDK system requirements page, Niantic AR Development Kit (ARDK): ARDK System Requirements, I’m aware that ARDK does not support iPads.

Is there any particular reason this is the case? And more importantly, is there any roadmap as to when support for iPads may be available?

I agree that supporting the iPad device is quite important since a lot of users have ipads…

Any updates on the roadmap and where would that fit in?

While not officially supported, I have encountered no issues on Ipads with ARDK.

And since ARDK 3 relies on AR foundation, meaning ipads should be officially supported

I just wanted to open this thread too ! My guess would be that with ARDK 3 it will not be an issue since it relies on ARKit and ARKit is designed for iPad too.

Ardk 2.X also used arkit, so it’s a mystery why it’s not supported
