Basic VPS waypoints API?

Is there any API to access the raw points that make up the waypoints?
The current VPS list only contains points for a small subset of places and most of what is in Ingress/Pokemon Go is not visible.

I don’t care about Ingress/Pokemon Go-related data; all I need is a list of places, maybe a name/picture, an unique identifier and obviously coordinates to know where to plonk it down on the map. Optionally, also whether or not said waypoint has an AR anchor is a nice-to-have.

The VPS Coverage API only returns Public, VPS-Activated wayspots, so it may not return everything in the games. However, you can use the Geospatial Browser to include non-activated wayspots as well to ensure that you aren’t missing anything.
