Unity 2022.2 and ARDK with URP

Dear Community,

with Unity 2022.2 there are a few problems that occurred in our project. First the data of the testing enviroment:

  • Device type & OS version: iOS
  • Host machine & OS version: Mac M1 (Silicon)
  • Issue Environment : Unity Mock / Unity with URP
  • ARDK version: 2.4.1
  • Unity version: 2022.2.14f1
  1. On Windows the project acts well also when building to mobile devices. The only problem seems to be that the ** Occlusion is no longer working**. Did anyone experience that problem and maybe has a hint on that?

  2. On Mac with the M1 chipset the application does not render the mock scene or skybox. This areas just render black. Although the plane detection does work since the net is displayed and also other parts like 3D objects are displayed correctly. Please see the attached screenshot. Did somebody also have that problem? (The fireplaces are there to visualise that 3D objects render correctly)

Hi Daniel,

Would you have happened to have also tested this with Unity 2021? Unity 2022 is still not supported by ARDK and we can’t guarantee full compatibility.

Then we hope unity 2022 will soon be supported as LTS is also coming up on the horizon and 2021 will be legacy :slight_smile:
