Niantic is improving wayspot quality!!! Starting today with a small amount of wayspots and scaling to more locations over time, developers will begin to see the following within the Geospatial Browser:
-Fewer, more complete, and better-quality meshes at VPS-activated locations
-If you have previously downloaded a mesh for a wayspot that has been improved, the original mesh downloaded may no longer be available in the carousel as it’s been replaced with a higher-quality mesh.
Note: original meshes in your app project will not be impacted and deployed experiences will continue to work as expected.
