Description of the issue:

Hi y’all. Working on my AR App, I can’t really get a good AR Shadow catcher to work.

When I am using a normal material for Meshing, shadows look quite good.

However as soon as I am applying a shadow catcher material, it begins to look very low quality (Resolution) and starts flickering

I also tried a second shadow catcher from the unity asset store: Shadow Receiver URP (FREE) | VFX Shaders | Unity Asset Store

this one works nicely in the mock mesh / editor , but is not visible in the actual app.

Has anyone found a good solution for a meshing material that only catches shadows but does not have flickering issues?

Hey! That asset is actually made by me.
Make sure you have shadow cascades at 1 and soft shadows disabled in the URP asset for mobile. If you have any more issues feel free to message me (Dev Dunk) on any social media.

Note that planes might have a more stable shadow than meshing, since meshing can have imperfections

Hi Dylan thanks a bunch! Will try that out asap

Thank you for assisting Dylan! Hopefully your package resolves Tobias’ issue
