Since Lightship VPS is beta, I would like to know:

  • Is Lightship VPS production ready and can be used in a commercial application?
  • How about the pricing of the service? I understand it’s free now, but I cannot start a commercial product without knowing in advance its future pricing model and cost.

I would say it can be, and already is being, used in production quite often. The workflow also is solid now.
I did not even know it is still in beta (since I tried the 2.0 beta, which was a bit rough)

No clue about future pricing. Also would love to know

All Lightship services, as well as VPS, are free as long as your app has less than 50,000 monthly active users (MAU).
